Shots rang out yesterday at two different locations within the City of Utica.

One person was hospitalized.

Utica police are investigating another shooting within the city limits.

The latest victim is a male in his 20's that lives on the 1500 block of oneida street where the shooting occurred.

This shooting took place around 11 o'clock tuesday night.

Just this year utica has seen six gun related homicides and over 20 bullet to body shootings.

Utica mayor robert palmieri spent the day on a clean sweep of that same area trying to connect with residents.
