The richfield springs reopeningplann inruction everyy for pre-kthrou- grades 9 through 12 will have hybrid schedules.
The principal of the middle and high school says because it's a large one-building district with about 400 students, they have the space to effectively divide up and socially distance students to meet the guidance for reopening.
According to district officials, there will be no virtual instruction... but rather remote or distance learning.
If you want your child to participate in remote learning only, you must submit a request in writing.
"the district will basically assess each request and seek medical documentation regarding the student's medical condition and how it impacts the student's access to education in order to determine whether the student necessitates remote instruction.
Once we know more about the numbers, delivery models will be determined.
We'll be touch late next week in regards to what those delivery models will look like."
"we will not be live streaming classroom lessons to families or students for a variety of reasons."
The district will start holding committee meetings next week to discuss what will happen if someone in the district gets the virus.
