Ereka Vetrini, Lifestyle Expert, Brand Spokesperson, Producer, and Blogger, Joins us on Good Day Kentucky to with Back to Schools tips for parents!

Rain showers and that assurance will return help cool temperatures down to the low c1 3 be unlike any other with families juggling more than ever before.

Keeping things at home as easy as possible will help maintain a level of sanity in the home for all.

So joining us today is ereka vetrini, a working mother of a nine and 11 year old, with tips on getting back to school and staying sane.

Welcome back to the show, ereka.

Ereka: lyssa, thank you so much for having me.

It's a crazy time of year.

Lyssa: it really is.

This morning was the same thing, just craziness, trying to get my kids ready for school.

Back to school has more questions than ever this year, whether our students are going virtual or in person.

Is there anything that we can do at home to get our families ready?

Ereka: yes, i have a few tips.

Number one would be just to get them outside as much as possible, whether you're doing hybrid or whether you're virtual learning, just getting outdoors and making the most of it is really important.

In fact, studies have shown that learning outside can reduce distance learning fatigue, so that's really important.

We do homework outside, we study, we entertain a ton outside, so you can imagine that i want to make the outdoors as inspiring and as beautiful as possible.

And so i turn to experts that can help me do that because it's a lot of work.

And trugreen is who i trust.

They have the sciens the tailored customer centric pace is beautiful and always reave it or not, fall is when yugreeno get the lawn ready be time.

They also have a 50% that's great.

And i don't kosque basicn parents do to help man?

Ereka: s really hard.of year and now there's thatthat just make me feel a little forto cups.

I love them.

Td 16 ounces of a hot beverage, so cool to the touch, they fchine.

That's key.

And when i'm running around, there's no spills or messes, but also my kids have been using them as snack cups.

So they fill them with snacks, they lock them in and then they're off.

Or in the morning sometimes they fill them with cereal and milk and then we're off to the bus stop.

So i really like that one as well.

Just for that, you want a little bit of sanity in your chaotic day.

Lyssa: absolutely.

Now with more time at home, feeding the kids has become a bigger part of our day.

Do you have any tips to keep the family fed and satisfied?

Ereka: yeah.

I'm living in this kitchen, so i've got plenty of tips.

Number one would be meal prepping, obviously we know that's a time saver.

So you want to prep your proteins and your veggies on sunday for the entire week.

And then i've got a secret weapon.

I've been using the lee kum kee brand sauces.

I love them.

There's broccoli, beef, orange chicken, as well as a lettuce wrap sauce.

My kids just love them.

All you do is you prep the veggies and the chicken and cook them up and then you throw in the sauce and you've got this really flavorful, delicious meal in a matter of minutes.

They are a must have pantry staple for me.

The lee kum kee brand has over 200 different sauces.

You can check out their websites, a ton of different recipes to choose from.

Just makes me meal the time, a little bit easier, i always got to have them on hand.

Now, snacking, at least i'm sure you've been aware of this.

Snacking is constant in this house, so i make sure that my freezer is packed with the farm rich snacks.

They're delicious.

They're wholesome.

They're easy to make, full of protein and calcium, made with real cheese.

My kids love the mozzarella sticks, who doesn't love mozzarella?

These are particularly good, i have to say.

They're really, really good.

They also have mozzarella bites that make not just for a great snack, but if they've got a soup, you can dunk the mozzarella bite into the soup as well.

So, that's farm rich snacks, got to have them, so delicious.

Lyssa: well, i'll tell you what if the kids don't eat it, i'll eat it.

Okay?

Ereka: me too.

Who do you think is going to eat these?

Lyssa: now, where can we go for more information, ereka?

Ereka: you can head to my website, which is erekavetrini.com and all this information will be there.

Lyssa: awesome.

Thank you so much for joining us today.

We really appreciate it.

Ereka: thank you.

Good luck this year.
