Tupelo High football tickets open to the public for home opener.

Are expected to be in the stands friday night.

But if you plan to be here... tonight could be the last night that tickets are available..

"our home side that gives us 1125 and our visitors side 480 spectators."

Tupelo activities director jason miller says tickets went on sale on tuesday he says they are first come first serve for the public including students.

Miller says he expects the tickets to sell out and earlier this afternoon only about 400 tickets remained.

"any tickets that are left over tonight will be sold to the general public friday night at the normal ticket booth."

He says this allows more than just the parents of the participating students to attend.

Miller says families are allowed to sit together, but if you come with friends you are required to social distance.

Miller says with an expected sold out crowd, he hopes every will follow safety guidlines "come out get a ticket and support these guys who have been working extremely hard all summer and up until this point."
