Overtime, Sept. 12 - Pt. 3
Highlights include Heritage at Ringgold, Gordon Lee at LFO, Dalton at Ridgeland

For ringgold.

After going winless in 20-19, the tigers saw the pandemic hit, so they didn't get spring practice.

Ringgold didn't get any 7-on-7's.

No jamborees or scrimmages.

To top it off, the tigers had to wait until nearly mid-september to play their first game.

They finally took the field this week in a rivalry game against heritage.

Could ringgold shake off all that rust and stop their 11 game losing streak?

Let the rivalry commense.

This one's always heated.

=== 1st quarter, heritage's qb nick hanson has his eyes on the prize.

Running back paxton mccrary gets some great blocks for a 30 yard touchdown!

7-0 heritage.

=== 2nd quarter, hanson looks, throws, ball off receiver logan lowe's hands and right to linebacker kori dumas.

There's no one in the way!!!

An earthquake in ringgold for a 42 yard pick 6 to tie the game!!!

=== hanson trying to get that score back.

This one is more on target.

Receiver ryan heet doesn't even need his feet.

Wide open in the endzone.

14-7 generals.

This one was tight.

However, heritage gets the dub, 28-21.

Its a beautiful night in fort oglethorpe as lfo clashes with gordon lee early in the first the warriors take the kickoff and march down field and qb malachi powell calls his own number and pounds it in for the score to make it 7 to 0 lfo next gordon lee driving and they lose the ball and the warriors recover early in the second lfo marching malachi powell drops back and sends one downfield to reciever will caroll who lays out for the catch after the big catch warriors at the goal line and they bully their way past the trojan defense making it 13 to nothing lfo goes for the 2 point conversion and malachi powell punches it home to make it 15 to nothing.

Gordon lee rallies in the second to come from behind and beat the warriors by a final of 29 to 15.
