Today might have been a bit of a gloomy sunday but for one mower county man it was the perfect day for a bike ride.
Meet mike chavez ... the rose creek resident took up bicycling earlier this year to get healthy.
To stay on on track he signed up for the the great cycle challenge... which raises money and awareness for childhood cancer.
Chavez made the committment to ride a thousand miles in the month of september and today he <" it's just phennomenal.
For us to just go out and ride bikes for awareness and to raise funds for them that's what its all about.thats why i did what i did and i still have three days left and there is still going to be miles put on."
