The Town of Paradise is under an evacuation warning due to the North Complex fire and some residents say they are prepared to stay back and fight the fires.

While others are very emotional with the thought of potentially losing everything again.

Action news now reporter dani masten shows us how people living upwind of these hotspots... are coping with the relentless threat.

Sot/raylene robinson/ "it's a difficult time.

It didn't use to be difficult.

You know there are a lot of challenges and not only for us humans and community members but also for our pets."

After losing everything once - raylene robinson tells me that she brings her dog everywhere with her now sot/raylene robinson/ camp fire survivor "one of the challenges that i face is that most places that i go, i have to take my dog because he is traumatized and he gets extremely anxious when he smells the smoke and so it is really sad for the time that we are having right now and so i am thankful that i get to bring him and he gets to tail around for the ride."

While raylene is staying prepared by bringing her dog everywhere with her, others are preparing to not evacuate sot/not identified/won't evacuate home "we're not going to.

I am not going to lose everything again."
