The spread.

Over the weekend... indiana saw a nearly 2 thousand case jump in positive covid-19 cases.

This is the 3rd highest spike indiana has seen since the pandemic began.

I talked with governor eric holcomb on how hoosiers can combat the virus.

He says as more people get out...the case numbers are bound to rise.

That means we shouldn't let our guard down.

He says washing our hands..

Wearing a mask... and keeping a safe distance from others..

Are just a few ways people can help in the fight against the coronavirus.

As the holiday events start to come around..

He says its important to stay vigilant through this process.

"theres so much beauty in the state of indiana and it makes me so happy to see families out even during a tough time like this out doors together experiencing it.

It's when you go into large crowds, it's when you let your guard down, and think oh it just won't happen or i know all these folks.
