11 people wounded after a shooting

Case.

."wtva 9 news i'm standing outside of the grenada police department where officers have handled shooting investigations before but probably one not quite like this.

Pkg around 1:30 sunday morning, police and grenada county sheriff's deputies showed up here at the s-s-m-c private biker club.

They found at least eleven people shot.

Sot: "there is some speculation preliminary that there is more than 11 people that were actually shot.

Most of them were treated at university of mississippi medical center and we did have one victim that was airlifted."

George douglas- chief of grenada police department but officers found more than just the shooting victims. sot: "during the investigation we recovered firearms as well as stolen property."

The chief added it's not clear yet just why the shooting happened in the first place.

Still, it's shocking to hear of so many victims. sot: "it sorrows our heart that this happened because there were so many people that were present.

Thus far we haven't had anyone to die because of this but that does not minimize the seriousness of this situation.
