Jesus garcia --who's volunteering his time at the salvation army in chico, for the first time ever this year.
On wednesdays, he preps fresh produce and meals for the weekly drive- through giveaway for families in need.
Every penny counts, some come in with abig need, some come in with a big heart of donating food clothing and money.
But for me and my family, it's really brought us together in the joy of actually giving salvation serves about 250 households every week, outside of the holiday season.
