Erin's House: Festive Drive Thru Experience for the Holiday

In lieu of their annual holiday gathering, the program for grieving families hosted a drive through holiday event for the families in their program.

Family support coordinator, emily mock says this year's holiday gathering is a little different by having families drive through, but it's still special nonetheless.

Around ninety-five families were expected to attend the drive thru experience this afternoon.

Now, erin's house staff say that's about three hundred people they were prepared to serve after not seeing their program participants in person since march.

Staff say the virtual peer support programs are sufficient, but they hope the holiday gathering will make a difference for the families who've lost a loved
