Bulldogs stay unbeaten after win over Sycamores

Indiana state men's basketball is going to find out right away where they stand in the mivc... they opened conference play sunday against drake, the bulldogs are one three teams in the league that haven't loss a game yet this season... the sycamores hosted the bulldogs this afternoon... tre williams trying to feed jake laravia in the post....not sure he meant to pass it off the backboard but it works...laravia scores...isu down 20-16.... cooper neese shot the ball really well for isu....his corner three brings the scyamores to within one... neese still feeling it...drills the three right in the defenders face...good guys up 28-26....neese had 13... second half....tre williams with his patent spin and left handed bank shot....that ties the game at 34....williams went for 13... drake would answer with a nine-ohh run and never look back...the bulldogs shot 60 percent in the second half, isu's defense wasn't very good... drake moves to 10-ohh......bulldogs pound the sycamores 81-63....isu drops the mvc opener, they fall to three and thre on the season... head coach greg lansing said his sycamores are no where near where they need to be to competitive in the mvc...
