Understanding.

It's just really hard."

Siblings are left to figure out life without their mother after she was found dead on christmas day.

Meanwhile... police are searching for the man they think is responsible for her death.

Good evening and thank you for joining us for news 10 on my fox 10.

Christmas day... "sarah henderson" was found dead inside a vigo county storage unit.

Tonight... we hear from her children who are devasted and struggling with the loss.

But first... another look at the man investigators say is responsible for henderson's death.

Take a look at your screen.

This is philip atterson.

Vigo county sheriff john plasse says atterson may be armed and is considered dangerous.

He may be driving a silver chevrolet cobalt or a silver dodge caliber.

Police think he could be in terre haute or indianapolis.

Henderson's body was found inside a storage unit on east springhill drive.

2 of her children visited this spot today.

Henderson's daughter -- erica ornduff -- says "atterson" was her mother's boyfriend.

She didn't know until her mother's death that the couple had been living in the storage unit.

She describes a complicated and often strained relationship with her mom.

She and her brother are learning a heartbreaking lesson saying the last words they shared with their mother were mean.

7:47:27 - :40 erica ornduff: "she sent me this message on facebook a few months ago and she asked me if i loved her and i didn't answer and i wish that i could go back and tell her how much i loved her."

7:55:22 - :26 elijah brownfield "i would give anything to have her back and give her hugs and stuff like that."

The siblings say they do not know the details of what happened to their mother... but... they do want "atterson" arrested and for him to spend the rest of his life in prison.
