Owensboro's Rolling Pin Pastry shop will remain closed throughout the rest of the week at a minimum after being struck by a vehicle on Christmas Eve.

Owensboro donut shop will remain closed this week -- after a car slammed into the building.

The accident happened christmas eve -- at rolling pin pastry shop --- on east 18th street.

The crash caused damage to both the exterior and interior of the building --- and that damage needs to be inspected for safety*before they can get back to baking.

The car involved in the crash -- ran from the scene but was located by o-p-d shortly after -- thanks to a customer that wrote down the license plate.
