Hooked On Science - Egg Geode

You are not going to believe what you can do with an uncooked egg.

Our “Science Guy,” Jason Lindsey, shows us how to turn an egg into a geode.

Check this out, you can create one, just like I did.

They are called Easter egg geodes.

All you need are a few ingredients from around the house.

Basically, you crack open an egg, dump the contents out, replace the contents with boiling hot water and borax.

As the water evaporates, from the eggs, borax crystals deposit on the inside of the eggs creating an amazing egg geode.
