A railway worker from Scotland has developed an unusual skill: cooking full meals in his hotel room using curling tongs, the kettle and an iron.
James Stewart, 60, stays in hotels three weeks per month all over the UK but since the pandemic hit, he prefers not to order takeaways.
"I don’t know who handles prepares the food, how many people the delivery driver comes into contact with so I don’t take the chance," Stewart said.
So, Stewart started improvising with the appliances in his hotel room.
Footage filmed last year shows him boiling potatoes in the kettle, heating sauces with the curling tongs and even cooking a steak on the iron.
"My family especially my daughter likes to watch my videos she said she knows I’m well and looking after myself," Stewart said.
