The University of Nottingham’s vice-chancellor has said students and staff are “in a state of shock” following the fatal stabbing of Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar on Tuesday.
Paying tribute to the 19-year-olds, Professor Shearer West said: “They were both extremely talented, both of them were amazing sportspeople, they were academically excellent … they were incredible people.” Report by Buseld.
