Write a hit piece against someone you oppose ideologically, then at the last minute send the subject a DM on social media (instead to their PR contact) asking for comment just so you can say you tried, but they refused/failed to comment.
It has permeated the Washington Post and many other publications in this era of pushing agendas.
Fortunately, this time they’ve been caught.
