Liberals and Bloc vote to end Commons committee hearings on military misconduct

One of two Parliamentary investigations into sexual misconduct in the Canadian military is being shut down. The governing Liberals, with the support of the Bloc Quebecois, have called an end to defence committee hearings this week over the the objections of Conservatives and New Democrats.
