American pushes back projected 737 Max return date to June

American Airlines has pushed back the projected return of the 737 Max aircraft yet again, this time saying it expects the plane back in its network June 4. Previously, American Airlines Group Inc. (Nasdaq: AAL) had the plane off its schedule until April 7. This means the Fort Worth-based carrier will be without the plane for the entire first quarter and much of the second quarter, further restricting planned growth as it cancels roughly 140 flights a day.
