Job losses skyrocketed in Oregon health care in March due to COVID-19

Job losses are mounting in the health care industry, part of the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic. The sector shed 43,000 jobs in March across the U.S., the biggest loss in at least three decades, according to Altarum, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit research group focused on vulnerable and publicly insured populations.
