With an eye toward going global, Bothell bottled water company names new CEO

Essentia Water of Bothell named Scott Miller, the head of Tampico Beverages Inc., as its new CEO effective June 1. Essentia founder and CEO Ken Uptain will become executive chairman of the national ionized alkaline bottled water company, which reported $74 million in measured retail sales last quarter. It was named BevNET’s Best of 2019 Brand of the Year. A company spokesperson said Essentia has 172 employees with all but six of its 53 Washington state employees at the Bothell headquarters. Uptain…
