Beshear puts pressure on LMPD with investigation, demands body cam footage

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday called for the Kentucky State Police to directly oversee an investigation — or launch its own independent investigation — into a fatal shooting in Louisville’s West End early Monday morning  Beshear also is putting pressure on Louisville Metro Police Department to release body camera footage of the shooting in full transparency before the end of the day.
