The city of Kansas City is proposing a $2.5 million Covid-19 relief plan for Clay County residents and businesses.  For businesses, $1.5 million would be set aside for grants up to $50,000 for companies with 75 or fewer employees, KCUR reports.  “It is important and vital for us to get dollars in the hands of the people in Clay County who need it the most,” Kansas City Councilwoman Heather Hall said during a Tuesday press conference.
