Organizations, businesses donate funds to support Iolani Palace

Hawaii organizations and businesses are raising funds to help save Iolani Palace, which is facing financial difficulties after closing for three months due to the coronavirus. The palace has incurred losses of more than $600,000 and is losing $7,700 per day, Executive Director Paula Akana said during a press conference on June 19, when it reopened after closing in late March.
