Kitchen goods retailer Sur La Table files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, sale

Kitchen retailer Sur La Table, which has four Massachusetts stores, filed Wednesday for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the District of New Jersey. The company is working on a sale with California-based STORY3 Capital Partners, affiliates of Fortress Investment Group, according to a press release.
