Chicago-based United Airlines this week announced plans to cut 75 employees from its workforce at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The layoffs are expected to begin Oct. 1, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice United sent to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development on Wednesday.
