Shutdowns across Comcast Corp.'s theme park segments — made up of the Universal Parks & Resort family — had an abysmal showing in revenue. The Philadelphia-based cable giant (Nasdaq: CMCSA), owner/operator of theme parks including Universal Orlando Resort, released second-quarter earnings for the period ended June 30, according to its July 30 report and earnings call.
