Churchill Downs Inc. has tweaked its attendance plan for the 2020 Kentucky Derby as the U.S. continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic. CDI said Wednesday that it will limit attendance to fewer than 23,000 fans, which is less than 14% of its attendance record in 2015. In doing so, the company has eliminated all general admission infield seating and is limiting guests solely to reserved seating areas.
