Maker of controversial 'Satan Shoes' files first legal defense

The maker of the controversial "Satan Shoes" said in a preliminary court filing on Wednesday that the shoes are "works of art" and unlikely to be confused with actual Nike products. The Brooklyn, New York-based company MSCHF made the declaration in a letter Wednesday to U.S. District Court judge Eric Komitee.
