Sativa Wellness Group Inc (LON:SWEL) appointed Marc Howells as its new chief executive and Anne Tew as its new chief financial officer. Geremy Thomas, who was interim CEO, will continue in his role as executive chairman. His career experience includes integrations, M&A, restructuring and scaling start-ups, which the CBD company said will provide significant additional strategic and development strength at the board level. His career includes senior roles in Citibank and Barclaycard before heading up a number of SME financial services companies as chief executive or managing director. Howells has an interest of 592,099 common shares, representing 0.2 % of the firm's issued share capital, as well as 335,070 warrants exercisable at 4.75p per share that are valid until December 2021. Tew has been with Sativa since November 2018 holding the position of group corporate secretary and head of finance. Her 30-year career includes a range of sectors including the NHS, testing laboratories, manufacturing and farming. She currently has an interest of 83,768 common shares, representing 0.03 % of the company's issued share capital, and holds 83,768 warrants exercisable at 4.75p per share valid until December and 923,590 options exercisable at 2.3-6.5p and vest over three years.
