Chalice Mining Ltd (ASX:CHN) (OTCQB:CGMLF) has released a new interactive 3D model of its Gonneville deposit at the Julimar Project in Western Australia, which provides an interactive overview of Gonneville and surrounding targets. Viewers can explore the host intrusion and each of the 11 high-grade zones (G1-11) defined to date and can also view the Gonneville deposit in context to the full interpreted extent of the ~26-kilometre long Julimar Complex. The company is now focused on progressing the Gonneville discovery rapidly through resource definition and into preliminary economic studies, with seven rigs continuing the ~160,000 metres step-out and resource definition drill program. In parallel with this, exploration activities are progressing across the largely unexplored >2,000 square kilometre project area. Initial environmental surveys are now underway in preparation for initial drilling at the Hartog target – which has highlighted the potential for the Gonneville discovery to expand considerably along strike to the north – in Q3 2021, subject to access approvals. In addition, the company expects to release the maiden mineral resource estimate in late Q3 2021.
