Britney Spears is one step closer to being free to choose her future if she can end a conservatorship over her finances. A Los Angeles court ruled Wednesday that Spears, 38, could pick her own lawyer. Mathew S. Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor, will serve as her attorney.
