Nucor plots another expansion, targeting western U.S. for $100M operation

Nucor Corp. continues to roll out expansion plans with the announcement Tuesday that it will build a $100 million “melt shop” operation at one of its four steel bar plants in the western United States.  Nucor has been focusing on growth opportunities and growing its market share across several steel categories.
