ACVB Hall of Fame inductee Carl Adkins led and staged major sporting events

From Super Bowl to Final Four, Carl Adkins has led the campaign to prove Atlanta can handle the biggest events in modern sports. As executive director of Atlanta’s local organizing committee, he led the staging of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, Super Bowl LIII in 2019 and NCAA Men’s Final Four in 2020. In that role, he was responsible for planning, promotion and coordination for all aspects of each of these three large-scale sporting events.
