Nestlé to close Moss Landing facility and lay off up to 141 workers

Nestlé USA Inc. gave notice to the state of California earlier this month that it would be closing its Sweet Earth Foods facility in Moss Landing. A total of 141 employees will be laid off. The company, one of the largest food manufacturers in the world, said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice that 104 of its employees would be affected.
