UK authorities make arrest following investigation into the sale of unapproved jet engine parts

There's been an arrest in the case of suspected unapproved aircraft parts, some of which have wound up on planes operated by leading airlines. Authorities in London said Wednesday that they conducted a raid and arrested one person as part of their investigation. The United Kingdom's Serious Fraud Office says it's looking into fraud at London-based AOG Technics. That company has been supplying aviation businesses with parts for popular jet engines produced by CFM International. Earlier this year, aviation authorities in Europe, the U.K. and the United States issued a warning about the fake parts.
