PM Modi, Micron CEO discuss India's semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem

Micron Technology's President and CEO, Sanjay Mehrotra, recently met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar to discuss the progress of Micron's semiconductor manufacturing project in Sanand, Gujarat. They talked about Micron's efforts to enhance the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in India, increase the workforce for semiconductor manufacturing, and engage with the local community through initiatives like the Atal Tinkering Lab. Micron had previously committed to investing up to USD 825 million in building a semiconductor assembly and test facility in India.
