Tourists to prefer spots with UPI link, says PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi stated on Monday that Indian tourists are likely to prefer countries with UPI links, as he launched the payment service in Sri Lanka and Mauritius alongside Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth. Following its rollout, UPI QR codes can be used in two nations, and Rupay cards can be used in Mauritius.
