Lizzo's 'Rumors' Pushes Against The Haters

*Lizzo* returns with new single 'Rumors'.

2019 album 'Cuz I Love You' swept her to fame, but it came at a prize, with public intrusion on her life. 'Rumors' depicts this process, and provides Lizzo space to push back against online haters.

Opening with the line "they don't know I do it for the culture..." she then jokes: "All the rumours are true..."

The video depicts her as a member of ancient Egyptian royalty, while the playful lyrics manage to touch upon empowerment, body positivity, and self-love.

She also throws in the sublime line: "No I ain't fucked Drake... yet!"

Out now, 'Rumors' is available on CD single, Flexi-disc single, cassette, and a limited edition autographed CD single.
