Chita Rivera, the dynamic dancer, singer, and actor known for her long Broadway career and paving the way for Latina artists, died at the age of 91. Rivera first gained notice in 1957 for her role in "West Side Story" and continued to perform on Broadway for over half a century. She also survived a near-fatal car accident.
