All you need to know about Sahil Khan arrest in betting case

Sahil Khan was arrested by Mumbai's Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Chhattisgarh for his alleged involvement in the Rs 15,000 crore Mahadev betting app case, following the denial of his anticipatory bail by the Bombay High Court on April 24. He remains in police custody until May 1st. According to a senior crime branch officer, Khan promoted the app through social media and forged documents but failed to cooperate in the probe. Known for his roles in movies like 'Style' and 'FALTU', Khan also owns a gym and has a significant Instagram following. Previously married to Negar Khan, he made headlines in 2024 for marrying his 21-year-old girlfriend Milena from Belarus. The case began when social activist Prakash Bankar filed an FIR alleging online portals' involvement in betting on sports and card games. Khan's name appeared in the list of suspects, and he was arrested from a hotel in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, after evading authorities.
