Largest Confederate statue still on public display to be removed from Richmond this week

The Monument Avenue statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee, the subject of much litigation since Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) first ordered its removal last year, will be taken away on Wednesday, officials said.
