935 glacial Himachal lakes pose Uttarakhand-like threat

With around 935 glacial lakes in Himachal posing an ever-present danger of breach, Himachal Pradesh fears an Uttrakhand-like tragedy. Of these, Gepang Gath glacial lake above Sissu village of Lahaul-Spiti district, having an area of 95 hectares, is the biggest glacial lake in the state.
