Pride Month: Google Doodle celebrates LGBTQ rights activist Dr Frank Kameny

Google Doodle on Wednesday celebrated Pride Month by honouring American astronomer, veteran, and gay rights activist Dr Frank Kameny. Kameny is widely hailed as one of the most prominent figures of the US LGBTQ rights movement. The Harvard graduate, Kameny was the first gay rights activist to file an appeal in the US Supreme Court after he was barred from federal employment.
