Haryana: Bid to protect site linked to Sarasvati

In view of archaeological and heritage remains, artefacts, and antiquities found at Sandhai village in Bilaspur block of Yamunanagar district, the Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB) has urged the district administration to protect and preserve the site. HSHDB principal secretary-cum-chief executive officer (CEO) at Panchkula has written a letter to Yamunanagar deputy commissioner (DC) dated December 2, 2021, requesting him to protect the site at Sandhai village, which falls on the Palaeochannel of Sarasvati river.
