Omicron BA.2 in 50% samples in Maharashtra, but hospital cases mostly Delta

Fresh genome sequencing reports from the state have revealed that an Omicron sub-lineage, BA.2, is slowly gaining ground in the community and the Delta variant is still largely responsible for hospitalization of Covid patients.
