No safeguards in most coaching centres in Delhi, DFS readies status report

Delhi Fire Services is all set to file its status report on the safety audit on coaching centres. The report, which will be submitted on Monday in court, mentions an audit of around 500 coaching centres across the city. Only a handful of renowned institutes in the city have been found to have the basic fire-fighting equipment on their premises. The audit was carried out after a fire at a coaching centre in Mukherjee Nagar injured over 60 students.
