Nipah scare: Kozhikode back to normal; schools, colleges to reopen tomorrow

The Kozhikode district collector has ordered the reopening of educational institutions in the district, with the exception of containment zones, following the containment of the Nipah outbreak. Online classes will continue in containment zones until restrictions are lifted. Students and teachers are required to use sanitizers and masks, and sanitizers should be made available at school entrances and classrooms. The health minister has stated that there have been no new cases of Nipah in the district for the past eight days, and surveillance measures, including animal surveillance, will continue.
