The number of dengue cases in Uttarakhand has exceeded 3,000, with over 1,000 cases in Dehradun and 736 in Pauri district. The state recorded 59 new cases, bringing the total to 3,046, with the highest numbers in Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, and Udham Singh Nagar. However, officials expect the number of cases to decrease as the season progresses. The virus has become less fatal as temperatures decrease. Authorities advise the public to remain cautious until the official end of the dengue season.
